This course is to provide knowledge and skills to the students who will be using health education practices at health care facilities in underdeveloped countries. This course highlights international health organizations, the characteristics of vulnerable populations, the international pattern of health, and social, cultural and economic factors for health. Through this course, students will gain a better understanding of the global health care issues and a critical ability to examine international health issues. It will also help students to develop the skills to perform a wide range of health education activities in foreign countries.

This course is focused on building up students' English speaking confidence in various clinical situations. Students are to build up and to improve their English speaking ability through this course. Students should be able to communicate with nursing clients and medical staffs effectively in various global clinical settings.
